Air brushed pic of the four founders, the first bike and the shed it was built in w/ the signatures of Wille G., Bill, Nancy, and Karen Davidson. The bike has just been upgraded with new easy start 585 cams, and fresh over haul 8500 mi. ago w/ S.E. 1550 stroker +.010 pistons and rebuilt heads. The heads and jugs are diamond cut also. The bike has just about every piece of chrome you can imagine! The Bike is a Torbleau trike conversion with reverse. To list a few of the extras: H-d security, Trailer hitch, programmable garage door opener, rider and passenger highway pegs, chrome and lited windshield trim and fearing trim, engine has just about all the chrome covers, oil level and temp lcd dipstick, engine oil cooler, air horn, kuryakyn deluxe panacea lites and billet heal and toe shifter.This bike was spared no expense! Bonhams To Auction Wayne Pierce Family Collection Of Motorcycles Jan. 9, 2014, In Las Vegas
Fri, 04 Oct 2013On January 9, 2014, during the fourth annual Las Vegas Sale of motorcycles at Bally’s Hotel and Casino, Bonhams, the world’s largest auction house for cars, motorcycles and memorabilia, will be auctioning off over 50 motorcycles from the extensive Wayne Pierce family museum collection, all offered at no reserve. Among the machines is a first-year Harley-Davidson Sportster believed to be the 10th XL883 produced in 1957, a 1933 Harley VLE police bike that saw actual duty on the streets of Chicago before being cast in the 1987 Kevin Costner gangster movie, “The Untouchables,” and an authentic and unrestored 1947 Harley Knucklehead wearing period aftermarket accessories. Wayne “Pappy” Pierce started his Harley-Davidson dealership in 1957, run out of a one-room tin shed in DeKalb, Illinois.

2013-2014 Harley-Davidson Breakout Recalled for Faulty Fuel Indicators
Thu, 17 Apr 2014Harley-Davidson is recalling 2013-2014 Breakout models, including CVO versions, because the fuel level indication system may not be properly reading the correct amounts of fuel. As of this publishing, recalls have been announced by government agencies in Australia and Canada; the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has not yet posted a recall but U.S.-based members of the Harley-DavidsonForums.com report American dealerships have already started receiving recall bulletins. According to a recall announcement by Transport Canada, some Breakout and CVO Breakout models may run out of fuel despite the fuel and range indicators indicating there is still enough fuel in the tank.
