The Twin Cam 96B engine and 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission enhances the ride, while the combination of laid-back chopper-inspired style and the comfort of a two-up seat and backrest is sure to stand out on the street. The Softail Custom goes wide with a 200mm rear tire on a Polished Slotted Disc Forged Aluminum wheel wrapped by a traditional Bobtail fender. A polished stainless steel ape-hanger handlebar towers over a Fat Bob fuel tank adorned with triple laid custom decals and embossed leather tank strap. A bullet-style headlamp rides over a standard 21-inch Chrome Profile Laced Aluminum front wheel. Harley-Davidson to compete in Hill Climb
Wed, 24 Jan 2018For the first time in the history of the World Extreme Games, in addition to skiers, snowboarders and other extreme winter sports, Harley-Davidson motorcycle riders will also start competing. The new Harley-Davidson Snow Hill Climb medal discipline will be introduced during the final days of the games, which will take place from January 25 to 28, 2018. Athletes will climb on motorcycles on the slope of the SuperPipe track.

Harley-Davidson has been slowly revealing details of the new model, first with a teaser video and a number of social media posts. We’ve previously speculated that the new model will use a smaller displacement version of the Sportster S‘ Revolution Max 1250T engine, with clues such as the telescopic fork, twin rear shocks and single front disc hinting at a less performance-oriented focus.
