Harley-Davidson Other description

2007 Harley-Davidson FXDL - Dyna Low Rider, VERY CLEAN LOW RIDER. ONE YEAR HARLEY EXTENDED SERVICE PLAN INCLUDED N/C !!This one has a detachable windshield, custom grips, a chrome tank panel, custom pegs, foward controls and a set of Rush slip ons.The word low describes much more than rider position when it comes to the FXDL Dyna Low Rider. While the 25.8-inch seat height is among the lowest in the Harley-Davidson line, features like a pullback handlebar also gives the Low Rider its slammed looks and precise handling. The bike's ergonomics are well-suited to those looking for a comfortable ride, while the new Twin Cam 96 powertrain actually brings the Low Rider to a higher level of performance for 2007. Black, 10-spoke Cast Aluminum wheels enhance the Low Rider's slammed look, while the handlebar-mounted indicator cluster adds a classic styling touch. A single floating brake rotor displays more of the front wheel.

Vespa goes back to the future

Thu, 22 Nov 2012

IT'S been a while coming, but the gorgeous Vespa 946 - EICMA 2012's Best of Show - has finally introduced something to the two-wheeled world that our four-wheeled counterparts have had for a while.  I call this 'reverse retro-futurism' - the art of borrowing lines from models past and imbuing them with a sleek sense of future direction (as opposed to retro-futurism, the pre-1960s design trend of depicting the technology of the future. The term 'decopunk' may come close, but feel free to tell me if there's a more exact term.) It's what the New Mini and the New Beetle (both 1997 and 2012 versions) have done so well, and so successfully: building an all-new model as a tribute to a classic, something that's modern yet already timeless, with a widely-appreciated, inclusive aesthetic (and here we eliminate the Plymouth PT Cruiser from the conversation). The biking world is great at retro, indeed thrives on it, but not so good at adding in a taste of the 21st century.

Stephen King to Guest Star on ‘Sons of Anarchy’

Tue, 21 Sep 2010

Stephen King will be making a guest appearance on the hit TV show, Sons of Anarchy, later tonight.  King will play a character named “Bachman”, which I’m sure was no coincidence since he had published under the pen name “Richard Bachman” for several years. Stephen King is a motorcycle enthusiast and was excited to get a tricked-out, bright red Harley-Davidson Road-Glide to ride for the filming of the episode.  See his comments about the production here. Harley-Davidson’s Vanity Fair Photo Shoot

Tue, 12 May 2009

Harley-Davidson has JUST uploaded a new video to YouTube (seriously! It was at 0 views when I got there!).  The video is a behind the scenes look at Harley-Davidson’s photo shoot for an upcoming issue of Vanity Fair. Watch the behind the scenes footage from Harley-Davidson’s new print campaign in the June Issue of Vanity Fair that salutes women riders and encourages females who have not yet hit the road on two wheels to “experience life with no regrets.” The women featured are health and wellness expert and NBCs The Biggest Loser trainer Jillian Michaels; Grammy®-winning singer-songwriter Jewel; television and film actor Tricia Helfer; and Los Angeles rider/entrepreneur Deborah DiMiceli.
