While the 25.8-inch seat height is among the lowest in the Harley-Davidson line, features like mid-mount foot controls, highway pegs and a pullback handlebar also gives the Low Rider its slammed looks and precise handling. The bike's ergonomics are well-suited to those looking for a comfortable ride, while the new Twin Cam 96 powertrain actually brings the Low Rider to a higher level of performance for 2007. Black, 10-spoke Cast Aluminum wheels enhance the Low Rider's slammed look, while the handlebar-mounted indicator cluster adds a classic styling touch. A single floating brake rotor displays more of the front wheel and Chrome, Profile Laced Aluminum wheels are optional. Pre-orders for the Launch Edition model are now open, with an MSRP of $17,699 with deliveries to begin in Spring 2023. A full production run will also begin in 2023, with LiveWire targeting an MSRP of $15,000.
2014 Harley-Davidson Sportsters Receive ABS and Keyless Security Options
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson revealed a five-model Sportster lineup for 2014 with some minor updates including new options for ABS and the H-D Smart Security System. The 2014 Sportster line consists of the 883cc SuperLow and Iron 883 and the 1200cc Forty-Eight, Seventy-Two and 1200 Custom. All five models received new brakes, with larger 300mm front rotors replacing the old 292mm discs.
