Cast wheels wrapped with 160mm rear rubber. - SIMPLE, RAW-BONED STYLE IN A NIMBLE TOSS-ME-A-LONG-SERPENTINE-STRETCH-OF-ASPHALT FRAME. Wanted: People possessing a maniacal devotion to two-fist navigation. We built our most generously priced Big Twin to be ridden long and often. Simple, raw-boned style in a nimble toss-me-a-long-serpentine-stretch-of-asphalt frame. Deep within the long and low custom styling lives 96 cubic inches of silver powder-coated volcanic V-twin. Fully loaded with six factory-fresh gears. Some view the Super Glide as a starting point for their own custom creation. Others revel in its simplicity. How you see it is up to you. Now the new Harley-Davidson Riding Academy is the only national rider training program hosted by Harley-Davidson dealerships and conducted on an all-new Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Since its inception in 2000, Harley-Davidson’s rider training program has successfully trained more than 350,000 new riders with a premium Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF)-approved rider training experience that guides students on their journey from the classroom to the street with an emphasis on building student confidence on their road to independence.

As Pete wrote in our own review, the Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight has a rugged, bobber-inspired look with its chopped fender, chubby front tire and underslung mirrors. For the guys over at Cycle Canada, the Forty-Eight conjured up a rather odd image: roller derby.
