2007 Harley-Davidson FLTR - Road Glide, ASK THOMAS FOR DETAILS2007 Harley-Davidson FLTR Road Glide

A uniquely designed "shark nose" fairing and sleek styling make the FLTR Road Glide stand out among Harley-Davidson touring motorcycles. The frame-mounted fairing reduces weight on the fork and handlebar giving the Road Glide an enjoyable highway ride with protection from the elements. That ride gets even better for 2007, with the addition of the Twin Cam 96 engine and 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission for improved power and relaxed cruising. The Road Glide instrumentation features the 40-watt Advanced Audio System by Harman/Kardon. Hard-shell saddlebags, cruise control and Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI) are standard. Black slashing graphics add an original color contrast. The Road Glide is available in nine solid color combinations for 2007.

Crusie Control.
Security System.

Harley-Davidson Denies Plans for Small-Displacement Model for India

Fri, 18 May 2012

India’s 13-million-unit-per-year motorcycle market is comprised of mostly small-displacement models, so it sounds odd at first when manufacturers such as Harley-Davidson and Triumph enter the market with their larger-displacment models. The question quickly arises as to whether they will stick with their existing big-bore models or introduce an all-new, small-capacity model for the Indian market. Manufacturers like the Big Four from Japan already produce smaller models for other markets so it’s a relatively easy task for them to introduce new models such as Honda‘s recently launched 109cc Dream Yuga.

The plaintiffs contended they believed their  was equipped with ABS because the instrument panel had an ABS indicator icon and from the salesperson’s sales pitch.

Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight and Roller Derby? [Video]

Thu, 10 Jun 2010

Canadian publication Cycle Canada had some fun on a photoshoot for its review of the Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight for the July issue. As Pete wrote in our own review, the Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight has a rugged, bobber-inspired look with its chopped fender, chubby front tire and underslung mirrors. For the guys over at Cycle Canada, the Forty-Eight conjured up a rather odd image: roller derby.
