2007 Harley-Davidson FLSTC - Softail Heritage Classic, The smooth-riding enjoyment of custom touring aboard the Heritage Softail Classic gets even better with the new Twin Cam 96B engine, 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission and Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI). The Heritage Softail Classic features touring essentials like comfortable riding position with a low seat height, wind protection, passenger room and luggage space, combined with early dresser style and a nostalgic feel. A new passenger seat and the windshield can easily be detached for an even more custom look. Chrome, Laced Steel wheels with chrome passing lamps, studded-leather trim and a full FL front fender over a fat touring front tire provide the makings of a truly original custom touring motorcycle. Chrome, Profile Laced Aluminum wheels are available as a factory-installed option. Available in five solid and four two-tone color choices, plus three two-tone custom color options.

Harley-Davidson Hires ex-GM Engineer Federico
Thu, 08 May 2014Harley-Davidson has hired a former General Motors engineer and executive, most recently recognized for leading the automaker’s internal investigation of its ignition switch fiasco that resulted in a recall of 2.6 million vehicles. Jim Federico retired from GM on May 5 after working in various roles with the company over nearly four decades, most recently as executive director of global vehicle integration. Federico will join Harley-Davidson on June 2 as vice president of engineering.
Zero Motorcycles Named to Made in USA Foundation Hall of Fame
Tue, 03 Jul 2012The Made in the USA Foundation has named Zero Motorcycles to its 2012 Hall of Fame class, recognizing the electric motorcycle manufacturer’s commitment to American manufacturing. Zero Motorcycles, founded in 2006 in Santa Cruz, Calif., by former NASA engineer Neal Saiki, becomes the second motorcycle manufacturer named to the Foundation’s Hall of Fame. Harley-Davidson was inducted in 2011.
