2007 Harley-Davidson FLHR Road King, FLHR - PACKED TO THE HILT WITH GOODS THAT INSPIRE ENDLESS HIGHWAYS. The first Harley motorcycle used a bicycle frame, had one cylinder and did the work of three horses. Times sure have changed. Nothing makes the road more proud. A giant chrome headlamp and nacelle. Detachable windscreen. Hard touring bags. Ample FL-style front end straddling a big-skirted fender. The Road King is packed to the hilt with goods that inspire endless highways. But it's not just there for show. The 96 cubic inches of Twin Cam beneath all the shining chrome is just the thing to take you down that road. Forbes Expects Harley-Davidson to Announce Gains for Q3 2011
Mon, 17 Oct 2011In anticipation of Harley-Davidson announcing its third-quarter performance in 2011 Forbes.com expects Harley will reveal its third straight quarter of sales growth. The article says that financial analysts expect “earnings of $0.76 per share, up 47.4% from the same quarter of last year.” Additionally, an 18.8% gain in revenues is expected. Interestingly, the article refers to Harley’s motorcycles as “luxury items,” and as such sees Harley’s increased sales and profit as a possible harbinger of an improving U.S.
Stephen King to Guest Star on ‘Sons of Anarchy’
Tue, 21 Sep 2010Stephen King will be making a guest appearance on the hit TV show, Sons of Anarchy, later tonight. King will play a character named “Bachman”, which I’m sure was no coincidence since he had published under the pen name “Richard Bachman” for several years. Stephen King is a motorcycle enthusiast and was excited to get a tricked-out, bright red Harley-Davidson Road-Glide to ride for the filming of the episode. See his comments about the production here.
