NHTSA Launches Recall Look-up by VIN Tool

The U.S. Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have launched a new free online tool that should make it easier for consumers to inspect their vehicles’ safety recall histories. The new search tool, available at http://www.safercar.gov/vinlookup, allows people to look for recall campaigns by entering Vehicle Identification Numbers.

Stephen King to Guest Star on ‘Sons of Anarchy’

Stephen King will be making a guest appearance on the hit TV show, Sons of Anarchy, later tonight.  King will play a character named “Bachman”, which I’m sure was no coincidence since he had published under the pen name “Richard Bachman” for several years. Stephen King is a motorcycle enthusiast and was excited to get a tricked-out, bright red Harley-Davidson Road-Glide to ride for the filming of the episode.  See his comments about the production here. Dashboard Camera Footage Shows State Trooper Rear-Ending Motorcycle

Newly-released footage from a police cruiser’s dashboard camera shows the car rear-ending a couple on a motorcycle. Ohio State Police are investigating the Aug. 17 crash which resulted in serious but non-life-threatening injuries to Beavercreek, Ohio, residents Corey Waldman and his wife Amy Waldman.
