1997 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy , Beautiful 97 Fat Boy for sale. It has had many upgrades; exhaust, intake, cam, head work, carb work, lots of chrome, custom paint....ect. The bike was purchased new by a family member and approximately 10k in upgrades were added. I have all the paperwork showing everything that has been done. The bike has been garage kept even while I was deployed. I have had the bike for the last 11 years and have not had any problems. I get compliments on it everywhere I go and the chicks dig it. Now that I'm married (partly to do with the bike) and live in a different area I think it time for something new. I still love the bike and hate to see it go, but I'm ready for a new project. I'm not looking for any trades. I know what I want to get but I need to sell this first. Anyway, it's been a very reliable and dependable bike and I'm asking $8500 OBO. Pope Francis To Auction Harley-Davidson For Charity
Mon, 21 Oct 2013During Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations earlier this year, Pope Francis was given not one, but two Harley-Davidsons, a 2013 Heritage Softail Classic and Dyna Super Glide Custom. Not one for gaudy excess (or a motorcycle ride for that matter), Pope Francis has decided to put both up for auction. Specifically, the Pope has donated the bikes to the Caritas charity near Rome.
Harley-Davidson and Brando Estate Settle Boot Suit
Tue, 06 Mar 2012The estate of Marlon Brando and Harley-Davidson have reached a settlement in a civil suit over the use of the actor’s name. As reported last May, the dispute was over a leather riding boot Harley-Davidson sold as “The Brando”. The suit sought an injunction for Harley-Davidson to stop using the Brando name, and asked for unspecified damages.
2015 Harley-Davidson Freewheeler Revealed
Tue, 26 Aug 2014It’s no surprise, as we’ve already seen the spy photos and California Air Resources Board documents, but Harley-Davidson has officially introduced its new Freewheeler trike, adding a second three-wheeled model to go with the Tri Glide Ultra Classic. Whereas the Tri Glide is designed for touring needs, the Freewheeler is more of a cruiser with 12-inch mini-ape-hanger handlebars and bobtail fenders. Up front is a seven-piece nacelle with a dual halogen lamp mounted tight to the 49mm telescopic fork and frame.
