Harley-Davidson Other description
2006 Harley-Davidson FXSTB/FXSTBI Softail Night Train, Custom paint, Custom rims, Vance Hines eshaust plus more! - In the saddle of a Harley-Davidson Softail, no road is ever lonely. Sunlight breaks through treetops to dance on chromed steel. The wind offers its constant stream of praise. And the world unfolds before you with open arms. Maybe it’s because nothing else on the road compares with the timeless hardtail styling ... and nothing else feels like a Twin Cam 88B power mill rigid-mounted to the frame. Counterbalancing takes care of all but the good vibrations. You and the motorcycle become one, united by an unbreakable bond. Then you feel the hidden rear suspension smooth out the ride with a full 4" of travel. There’s no denying you’re in the saddle of a rolling masterpiece. This year, the Softail family of custom motorcycles welcomes its latest member. We invite you to turn the page and take a gander at the clean lines of the new Heritage Softail. Additionally, all new bobtail models get a shot of adrenaline in the hindquarters — a brawny, road-hugging 200mm tire under a new wider fender. More rubber to stick to the pavement. More style to keep the eyes glued. Get in the Badlander seat. Reach for the drag-style bar. Then stretch out to the forward controls. In this riding position, it’s easy to see why the Night Train is notorious for causing a stir. This year, it gets a fatter 200mm rear tire on a Black Slotted Aluminum Disc wheel — the aggressive look you want, done right by the factory. New, widened bobtail fender. All nicely balancing out a narrow, raked front. To push the custom street look further, we blacked out the tank console, air cleaner cover, oil tank and rear fender supports. At the center is the black powder-coated Twin Cam 88 engine belting out a haunting melody. No matter the hour, night is always just a throttle turn away.

Happy Birthday Elvis!
Fri, 08 Jan 2010Born on January 8th, 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi, Elvis Aaron Presley would have been 75 years ago today if he was still alive today. As a tribute to “The King” of Rock and Roll, the Harley-Davidson Museum has created a special exhibit, expanding on the semi-permanent collection from Elvis that has been on display since the museum was opened in 2008. The bill of sale, insurance, and registration papers for the 1956 Harley-Davidson KH pictured above will be on display along with the motorcycle that was owned by Elvis and the Graceland Museum has loaned some rare photos for the occasion. Along with Cadillac’s, Elvis had a passion for motorcycles but especially loved his Hogs and rode Harley’s in many of his films, including Roustabout (1964), Viva Las Vegas (1964), Clambake (1967) and Stay Away Joe (1968).

Harley’s Behind the Scenes at The Art of Rebellion
Wed, 06 May 2009On February 7th, 2009, at the Robert Berman Gallery in Santa Monica’s Bergamot Station Arts Center, Harley-Davidson gathered 11 of today’s most relevant and exciting artists to present their take on the theme of rebellion. Because the event was so popular, The Art of Rebellion one-night only event quickly became a month long showing. Artwork was for sale and the proceeds were donated to Art Matters, a foundation that assists socially and aesthetically groundbreaking artists.
