Dip it in chrome. That’s the new Super Glide Custom. A clean, custom motorcycle with a maximum shine. Put on some dark shades to check this one out. For starters, your eyes will immediately lock in on the silver powder-coated engine with chrome detailing. The proven Twin Cam 88 powertrain, available in traditional carb or sophisticated EFI, is always ready for as many miles as you care to throw at it. We rubber-mounted it to the frame for a ride that’s as smooth as the looks. The stretched tank gets a color-coordinated console with performance-style fuel filler cap. More Evidence of a Harley-Davidson Pan America 975 Emerges
Mon, 17 Oct 2022Earlier this year, we wrote about how signs of a Pan America 975 were mistakenly mentioned in an official Harley-Davidson web page for an accessory locking fuel cap. Up until shortly after our article went live, the page listed the fuel cap as being compatible with the RA1250 (Pan America 1250) and RA1250S (Pan America 1250 Special) as well as two unannounced models: the RA975 and RA965S, which we assumed to be Pan America models powered by the 975cc version of the Revolution Max engine, like the one equipped on the Nightster. Motorcycle.com has now obtained further evidence of the existence of middleweight versions of Harley-Davidson’s adventure-tourer, once again from Harley itself, as well as the U.S.
Zero Enters South American Market
Wed, 28 Sep 2011Zero Motorcycles has signed a distribution deal with the Brazilian dealer network Grupo Izzo, bringing its electric motorcycles to first Brazil, and soon across South America. Brazil is one of the world’s fastest growing markets for motorcycles, a market Zero hopes to tap with its new distribution deal. Grupo Izzo is based mainly in Brazil with 11 locations, but has plans to expand into other South American countries.
