2004 Harley-Davidson FXST/FXSTI Softail Standard, Clean Softail - In a world filled with flash and trash, it’s good to know there’s a machine like the one you see here, the Softail Standard. Everything about it is pure and beautifully basic. It starts with a silver powder-coated Twin Cam 88B engine, with carb or EFI. Dual counterbalancers make it feel as smooth as it looks. The Softail Standard features a raked FX fork, laced wheels, fat rear tire and a bobtail fender for the styling traditionalist. A hidden rear suspension shelters the backside from bumps while maintaining the clean hardtail appearance. Many will find this bike everything they want. Laguna Seca Added to 2014 AMA Superbike Schedule
Thu, 13 Mar 2014AMA Superbike will be racing at Laguna Seca this year after all, with AMA Pro Racing announced the addition of the Monterey, Calif., circuit to its 2014 schedule, joining the World Superbike Championship on July 11-13. Laguna Seca was not included in AMA Pro Racing’s calendar, but its addition now increases the number of rounds in the series to six. That’s still down from the nine rounds held in 2013, but the absence of Laguna Seca and its famed Corkscrew would have been an especially tough loss.

When in Rome for Harley’s 110th
Mon, 03 Jun 2013In addition to all the other goings-on scheduled for Harley-Davidson’s 110th celebration in Rome, Italy, Pirelli and LowRide magazine are teaming up to bring Italian Motor Company enthusiasts even more. During the June 13-16 celebration Pirelli is setting up shop at Lido di Ostia, transforming the Rome Nautical Club in to the Pirelli Clubhouse for this occasion. Guests at the Pirelli Clubhouse can attend tattooing sessions, where images created by Fashion Tattoo Studio will be imprinted on a range of tires. For those who want to try the thrills of driving a racing car through iconic racetracks around the world, the Formula 1 simulator will be available throughout the four-day celebration. Also on show is the new summer collection of Pzero clothing. Pirelli technicians will hold product workshops illustrating the importance of tires on custom motorcycles.
