Harley-Davidson Other description

2004 Harley-Davidson FXDWG/FXDWGI Dyna Wide Glide, 2004 Harley Davidson Wide Glide - This Wide Glide is loaded with extras: chrome lower forks, upgraded chrome mags, upgraded HD controls, and chrome pulley. Bike is carbureted and super clean! If ever a set of handlebars could make a statement, it’s right here. Take a look at the factory ape hangers on the front of this Wide Glide model. No doubt, they spark thoughts of early tricked-out choppers. When you grab hold of them, that feeling comes rushing to life. Settle into the custom chopper seat, reach to the forward foot controls and stare down a distant horizon. It’s a laid-back way to see a country. This year, it gets even better. With a restyled, stretched fuel tank and console. It sports a new 3-D Bar & Shield with flame graphics. Custom all the way. You get a 21 laced front wheel, chromed sissy bar, backrest and raked fork. And a Twin Cam 88 powertrain, now available with a sophisticated EFI option. All you have to do is sit back and enjoy. Availability of colors may vary from dealer to dealer, and is subject to change without notice. Pearl: additional $240 Two-tone: additional $585

Barbie and Ken get biker makeover

Mon, 15 Feb 2010

IF YOU'VE a young daughter and you want to keep her away from motorcycles when she's older (or more likely the men that ride them) then look away now.Yes folks, Barbie and Ken are getting serious makeover to keep them up-to-date for 2010 - the new Harley-Davidson endorsed couple now come complete with biker gear, tattoos and even piercings (a Prince Albert, perhaps?). It makes you wonder what Mattel, the company behind the plastic duo, has next in the pipeline. Maybe they'll have a model of Birmingham airport, where Ken can kick the sh*t out of rival bike gang members?

Harley-Davidson Reveals Project Livewire

Thu, 19 Jun 2014

Yesterday we published a scoop on what we believed to be a production electric motorcycle by, of all companies, Harley-Davidson, dubbed “Livewire.” Today, H-D officially announced Project LiveWire as the company’s first electric motorcycle. However, it appears as though our speculation about LiveWire going into production was a bit off base. Instead, The Motor Company is continuing with its customer-led product development approach and letting riders decide whether or not LiveWire sees the light of day. Starting next week select consumers across the country will be able to ride and provide feedback on the bike, helping to shape the future of Harley-Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle. While not for sale, Project LiveWire is specifically designed for the purpose of getting insight into rider expectations of an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
