The Road King Classic draws its styling cues from storied Harley-Davidson motorcycles of the past, including the wire-laced wheels, wide whitewall tires, and gorgeous leather-wrapped hard saddlebags that retain their shape mile after mile. Fender tips and seat valance boast a unique chrome Road King Classic 3-D emblem for added style.
The Road King Classic combines classic Harley-Davidson styling with touring comfort and features. Sun, 30 Oct 2022Someone’s not done bitchin’ in the kitchen ’bout Dyna; when H-D dropped the twin-shock classic after 2017, there was more than a little wailing and gnashing of gears. The first Dyna rolled out in 1991 in the form of the FXDB Sturgis, which I think is the one I rode to Sturgis. Ten years ago, Pete and Fonzie rode the FXDC Super Glide.
Harley-Davidson Discontinuing Road Glide and Other Models for 2014
Mon, 15 Apr 2013A leaked memo sent out to Harley-Davidson dealers reveals plans to drop several models from the company’s 2014 lineup. Slated to disappear are the XR1200X Sportster, the FXS Softail Blackline, and the FLHTC Electra Glide Classic. Also being discontinued, at least for 2014, is the FLTRX Road Glide Custom and FLTRU Road Glide Ultra, as the tourer models undergo a design refresh.
