2003 Harley-Davidson V-Rod , 2003 Harley Davidson 100th Anniversary VRSCA V-Rod with low miles for the year and looks/runs great. I purchased this bike from Conrad's Harley Davidson in IL this spring and everything was checked out before it left. The bike has a new battery as of 5-1-13 along with a trickle charger lead installed. Before the bike left the store they added Bub pipes for me that really sound great. I put a K&N High flow air filter in 7-1-13. On 8-30-13 the bike got new front brake pads (Harley Davidson Pads) and the fluid flushed. At that time I also had a oil change done with AMS Oil. Please let me know if you would like to see the bike or have any other questions. 100th Anniversary VRSCA V-Rod A truly original, technologically masterful machine that combines raw performance and long, low, hot rod styling. Its built around the race-inspired Revolution engine. A high-revving, liquid-cooled, 115-hp, 60, 1130cc, fuel-injected V-Twin marvel that puts the power in powertrain. We showcase this mechanical wonder in a hydro-formed perimeter frame. Then we rubber-mount and counterbalance it for a smooth ride. Part of the trademark of the V-Rod is the styling of the aluminum bodywork. It pushes the look of the fenders, air box cover and dual scoop radiator cover. A factory security system is now standard. The Hydra-Glide name celebrates its 75th anniversary, dating back to the first hydraulic fork that was equipped to a Harley-Davidson, replacing the springer front end in 1949, while the “slash” fuel tank design, emblem, classic round air filter cover, two-toned windshield, seat, and cases, are all nods to the 1956 FLH. Ohio Man to be Buried on 1967 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide
Fri, 31 Jan 2014Billie Leo Standley died last weekend from lung cancer, but before he died, the 82-year-old wished for the world to know he was going to ride off to heaven. To accomplish this wish, Standley and his family made arrangements for him to buried in a Plexiglas casket riding his 1967 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide. Fri, 19 Dec 2008Every year it seems that newspaper advertisements, radio and TV commercials for Christmas start earlier and earlier. As soon as the sun begins to set on Halloween, department stores begin packing shelves and websites start stocking inventory in preparation for the impending feeding frenzy that will occur for the most commercial of holidays next to valentine’s day. While spending the holiday with family normally keeps me blitzed off eggnog and most of these aforementioned advertisements are enough to make me want to book a cruise for an entire fortnight at the end of December, this one commercial for Harley-Davidson made me laugh.
