2003 Harley-Davidson FXDWG Dyna Wide Glide, 100th Anniversary FXDWG Dyna Wide Glide As good as a Harley looks, owning one has always been about putting on miles. The Dyna Wide Glide is one great machine for doing that, with its laidback cruising posture and rubber-mounted Twin Cam 88 engine. If you haven't felt how good the miles feel on one, you should try. But be warned, it is habit-forming. The Wide Glide model you see here is done to the nines to celebrate the 100TH. Two-tone Sterling Silver and Vivid Black paint. Seat logo. Gold-trimmed tank cloisonné. And a limited edition 100TH Anniversary sissy bar medallion. It also features repositioned footpegs and a redesigned brake pedal for comfort. Bobtail rear fender. Dave Grohl Drums to the Sound of a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle
Fri, 31 Jul 2009I’ve got a lot of respect for Dave Grohl. He’s amazingly talented and very driven. Even after Nirvana, the guy is still kicking and in the spotlight with the Foo Fighters and the millions of other side projects he’s done (ie: Queens of the Stone Age). Apparently he’s also a big motorcycle guy. Harley-Davidson did a little video on Dave, featuring him drumming on a snare drum to the exhaust pipes of a Harley-Davidson. The seven minute video goes on about how Mr Grohl bought his first motorcycle when the Nirvana album “Nevermind” started to become big.

The Hydra-Glide name celebrates its 75th anniversary, dating back to the first hydraulic fork that was equipped to a Harley-Davidson, replacing the springer front end in 1949, while the “slash” fuel tank design, emblem, classic round air filter cover, two-toned windshield, seat, and cases, are all nods to the 1956 FLH. Gymnast on a Harley….Wow.
Mon, 23 Mar 2009What happens when you take away a smokin’ hot gymnast’s balance beam and replace it with a Harley-Davidson Fat Bob? It’s only 30 seconds but who’s to stop you from playing it over and over again? Now what would be even more amazing is if there was a dude riding that bike on the highway while she did that. What would be a million times more amazing would be if that dude was me.
