2002 Custom Night Train** Clocked at 154 mph. in 4th gear!! ** This bike was fully customized off the showroom in 2002, including extensive motor work. One of a kind, lots of power and great ride. Recent custom paint and powder coating. New PM brakes, Jaybrake controls and EBC discs. White Brothers tuned exhaust. Frame is original with a 37 degree raked front end. Originally it had 9" over forks and was originally built as the " Miller Lite " calendar bike. Fenders were built by Jessie James and a new paint scheme done by Rat Rodz Cycles in 2012. Front and rear ends have been lowered giving the bike more of a street fighter look. Bike has Rowland Sands Bars, dirt bike pegs, Jaybrake controls, PM 6 piston front brakes and original Harley Davidson rear brakes with EBC custom stainless rotors. Wheels are 1 (one) off Customs By Ozzy, numbers 1 and 2. Exhaust was built and tuned by White Brothers. Engine was built in Daytona at Carls Speed Shop with Screamin Eagle Jugs (stacked) long stroke4 5/8 , 120". Screanin Eagle tuner , Mikuni HSR 48mm carb. RWD 4.2 Gallon tanks with custom Lepera seat. Harley-Davidson Museum Announces Black Leather Jacket Exhibit

The Harley-Davidson Museum is opening a new exhibit dedicated to an iconic piece of motorcycle culture: the black leather jacket. The “Worn to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket“  exhibit will showcase the ubiquitous article from many riders’ wardrobe.The exhibit includes over 100 artifacts including jackets designed by fashion houses such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Gianni Versace, as well as jackets worn by celebrities such as Elvis Presley. “The leather jacket symbolizes different things for each person who wears it, whether they are a motorcyclist, celebrity or a top designer,” says Bill Davidson, vice president of the Harley-Davidson Museum.

Forbes Expects Harley-Davidson to Announce Gains for Q3 2011

In anticipation of Harley-Davidson announcing its third-quarter performance in 2011 Forbes.com expects Harley will reveal its third straight quarter of sales growth. The article says that financial analysts expect “earnings of $0.76 per share, up 47.4% from the same quarter of last year.” Additionally, an 18.8% gain in revenues is expected. Interestingly, the article refers to Harley’s motorcycles as “luxury items,” and as such sees Harley’s increased sales and profit as a possible harbinger of an improving U.S.
