The factory slammed front and rear suspensions lower the bike for a road-hugging look and feel. A full length Tank Console (designed by Willie G. Davidson), and the Silver-faced Speedometer, along with the Lightning Star Wheels, slash-cut Exhaust and billet-style Turn Signals add to the drama of this visually impressive motorcycle. The FXDWG3 features more than $8,000 in Genuine Harley-Davidson custom parts and accessories. It is accented with Streaming Flames of Hand Laid Silver Leafing on the Fuel Tank, Fenders and Headlight Fairing. The powder-coated Frame, Chin Fairing, Battery Box, Coil Cover and Electrical Enclosure are all color-matched for added visual intensity. Harley-Davidson Sells Test Track to Chrysler
Fri, 12 Apr 2013Harley-Davidson has sold its 531-acre private test track in Florida to the Chrysler Group for $7 million. The property, located off of Interstate 75 in Naples, Fla., includes six miles of track including a 2.1-mile straightaway and several buildings. The track was originally built for Ford, with construction completed in 1992.

Fri, 24 Oct 2008I had a unique opportunity this week to sit down with Oliver Shokouh, the founder of the Love Ride, only days before the 25th anniversary of the purportedly largest one-day rally in the world, kicks-off this coming Sunday, October 26. First and foremost I’m very grateful for Oliver to set aside over half an hour of his precious time so close to the event. Not only does he head-up this massive event, he’s also busy running the very busy and successful Harley-Davidson/Buell of Glendale (California).
