The factory slammed front and rear suspensions lower the bike for a road-hugging look and feel. A full length Tank Console (designed by Willie G. Davidson), and the Silver-faced Speedometer, along with the Lightning Star Wheels, slash-cut Exhaust and billet-style Turn Signals add to the drama of this visually impressive motorcycle. The FXDWG3 features more than $8,000 in Genuine Harley-Davidson custom parts and accessories. It is accented with Streaming Flames of Hand Laid Silver Leafing on the Fuel Tank, Fenders and Headlight Fairing. The powder-coated Frame, Chin Fairing, Battery Box, Coil Cover and Electrical Enclosure are all color-matched for added visual intensity. Mon, 29 Oct 2012The indomitable Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines drag racing team has set the stage to claim another championship in motorcycle drag racing. Ed Krawiec raced to his ninth Pro Stock Motorcycle win of the season and third in a row at the Big O Tires NHRA Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this past weekend, ensuring the 2012 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle championship title will go to the Harley team. Krawiec now carries a 111-point advantage going into the last round; only his teammate, Andrew Hines, remains as a contender to claim the crown as champ.

Easy Rider 40th Anniversary
Tue, 27 Oct 2009Peter Fonda, who played Wyatt in the 1969 cult classic, Easy Rider, was in Glendale, CA on Friday to help promote the Blu-Ray release of the film which marks the 40th anniversary. The movie was scheduled to be shown at the Love Ride event that was canceled this year, instead the film screened at a local Harley-Davidson dealer. One of the film’s main objective was to expose violence and racism in the U.S. in a negative light but instead it seems that it was taken the wrong way with most, glorifying the lifestyle that was portrayed in the film.
