Harley-Davidson had previously worked with Marvel for last year’s “The Avengers” and before that, with 2011′s “Captain America: The First Avenger“. For the third installment of the Iron Man series starring Robert Downey Jr., Harley-Davidson and Marvel announced the “Iron Man 3 – Man & Machine” contest.
Marlon Brando Estate Files Suit Against Harley-Davidson
Tue, 17 May 2011Brando Enterprises, an operating entity that protects the Marlon Brando brand on behalf of the actor’s family, has filed a lawsuit against Harley-Davidson. The suit alleges Harley-Davidson used the legendary actor’s name without a license for a leather riding boot called “The Brando”. “It is interesting that Harley-Davidson – a company that is vigorously protective of its own brand – would seek to exploit an iconic property without benefit of a licensing agreement,” says Jeffrey I.
Zero Motorcycles Launches Dealer Network

Until now, Zero conducts its sales over the Internet with the help of a system of Independent Representatives around the country who use a handful of demo models instead of actual inventory to showcase the brand. As both demand and production have increased, Zero is ready to adopt a new dealer-based model.
