2001 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide CLASSIC, I am selling my 2001 Electra Glide Classic. This is a great bike and priced to sell. The bike has 65k miles and was garage kept its whole life. I am the third owner and I am purchasing a new bike. The bike is sunglo jade green and the only modification done is Vance and Hines pipes. I have upgraded the headlights and passing lights to HD 2011 lights. The bike has had a Harley Davidson repower engine upgrade done not many miles ago. The bike rides perfect. Has had the tires, belt and service done recently. All work was performed by Harley. I have all books, keys and even the Harley wipe down rag with the bike. Make me a reasonable offer. Confirmed: Next Harley-Davidson Sportster Will Use Revolution Max 975 Engine
Thu, 07 Apr 2022The Nightster 975 has a certain ring to it We are less than a week away from the official reveal of Harley-Davidson‘s next Sportster, but we’ve managed to confirm the new model will use a 975 version of the Revolution Max engine. Harley-Davidson has been slowly revealing details of the new model, first with a teaser video and a number of social media posts. We’ve previously speculated that the new model will use a smaller displacement version of the Sportster S‘ Revolution Max 1250T engine, with clues such as the telescopic fork, twin rear shocks and single front disc hinting at a less performance-oriented focus.
Harley-Davidson Donated $4.5 Million to Various Causes in 2012
Fri, 15 Feb 2013Harley-Davidson donated more than $4.5 million to support various charitable groups in 2012. The donations, which include both grants and merchandise, went to several organizations, including those around Harley-Davidson‘s bases in Milwaukee, Wis., York, Pa., and Kansas City, Mo., but also to groups across the nation. The Milwaukee chapter of Habitat for Humanity received a $200,000 grant for its Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative, helping fund housing projects in the Washington Park community.
Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season
Wed, 04 Dec 2013More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
