Harley-Davidson Other description

1998 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy , I am selling my 1998 Fatboy. Bike has 54k miles, custom paint, front and rear avon white walls with less than 1000k miles on them, 16 apes, 36 Samson longtail pipes without baffles (bike is loud), spoke wheels, Willie G Mirrors - foot pegs - footboards and screw covers, 80cu in evo, more chrome than you'll ever want to clean, engine guards plus foot pegs, custom seat, passenger back rest, this bike is awesome. Also have a few misc items like leather saddle bags, leather tool pouch and an extra set of pipes (python III) It is a bike that gets ridden so there is some little chips here and there but no major issues. There is also no key for the Harley. Lost it while riding over a year ago. You have to see it to appreciate it. No low ballers and no free rides without cash in hand. I can send more pictures if needed. Matt 623-703-1488 $9,000.00 6237031488

Harley-Davidson's Production Stoppage Was Caused by Non-compliant Brake Lines

Fri, 29 Jul 2022

Production ramps up to meet year-end targets Back in May, Harley-Davidson announced it would temporarily halt motorcycle production due to a “regulatory compliance matter” regarding an unspecified part from a third-party supplier. Harley-Davidson initially estimated the stoppage would last two weeks but it eventually lasted 19 days before production resumed on June 6. The actual cause for the delay remained unclear some speculating the issue was related to the powertrains, as the stoppage only affected Harley-Davidson’s gas engine-powered motorcycles and not the electric LiveWires.

Vespa goes back to the future

Thu, 22 Nov 2012

IT'S been a while coming, but the gorgeous Vespa 946 - EICMA 2012's Best of Show - has finally introduced something to the two-wheeled world that our four-wheeled counterparts have had for a while.  I call this 'reverse retro-futurism' - the art of borrowing lines from models past and imbuing them with a sleek sense of future direction (as opposed to retro-futurism, the pre-1960s design trend of depicting the technology of the future. The term 'decopunk' may come close, but feel free to tell me if there's a more exact term.) It's what the New Mini and the New Beetle (both 1997 and 2012 versions) have done so well, and so successfully: building an all-new model as a tribute to a classic, something that's modern yet already timeless, with a widely-appreciated, inclusive aesthetic (and here we eliminate the Plymouth PT Cruiser from the conversation). The biking world is great at retro, indeed thrives on it, but not so good at adding in a taste of the 21st century.
