Harley-Davidson Other description

1997 Harley-Davidson FLSTF Fat Boy, Purple People Eater - The 1997 Harley-Davidson FLSTF Fat Boy motorcycle carried on the design themes that made the original 1990 Fat Boy such a success. But there was one important difference. Introduced in 1990, the Fat Boy instantly became one of Harley-Davidsons most popular models. Over the next decade, waiting lists for the machines sometimes stretched as long as two years. The original Fat Boy came in any color you wanted -- as long as you wanted gray. Fenders, fuel tank, oil tank, and even the frame were all painted the same hue, with fine yellow trim being applied around the valve covers, ignition switch, primary-cover inspection plate, timing cover, and within the winged tank emblem. But the most noticeable element of the Fat Boys styling were the 16-inch solid wheels used both front and rear it remains, to this day, the only model so equipped. Fat Boys rode the Softail frame that hid its shocks beneath the engine. Power came from the 80-cubic-inch Evolution V-twin introduced six years earlier, and like all Harleys since, the Fat Boy used belt drive. After 1990, Fat Boys were available in a variety of colors, including two-tones -- though grey was never again offered. Otherwise, however, they changed little until a redesigned model sporting Harleys new Twin Cam 88 V-twin arrived in 2000. Our Fat Boy comes equipped with: Vance & Hines Staggered Long Shots Exhaust system Genuine Harley-Davidson quick detach windshield Soft saddlebags and supports Tall handlebars and more.

What am I gonna do with a gun rack?

Wed, 27 Jul 2011

Living in Shoreditch I come across a unique variety of motorcycles on the road; from XS650s, to classic Lambrettas and one completely brown jelly-mould CBR600. My favourite of the regular bikes I see is this Harley-Davidson badged Armstrong MT500. In my head I like to think that the owner operates as an urban vigilante, realistically whoever rides this ex-Army bike is probably an artist and instead of a weapon in the gun holder it's probably art equipment.

Ohio Man to be Buried on 1967 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide

Fri, 31 Jan 2014

Billie Leo Standley died last weekend from lung cancer, but before he died, the 82-year-old wished for the world to know he was going to ride off to heaven. To accomplish this wish, Standley and his family made arrangements for him to buried in a Plexiglas casket riding his 1967 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide. Warning: A graphic photograph of Standley in his casket can be viewed on the Dayton Daily Times website.

Warlord Harley-Davidson Saddlebag Trays By First Shot Cycle Parts

Tue, 28 Jan 2014

If you’re the type who likes to stay ultra-organized, even (especially?) while riding your Harley-Davidson bagger, you might want to look at these Warlord saddlebag trays from First Shot Cycle Parts. While the concept of saddlebag trays is nothing new, the Warlord tray is well thought out. Dividers keep all of your small items where you can find them and not buried in the saddlebag. Each tray is lined, comes with removable dividers and all mounting brackets.
