Every year it seems that newspaper advertisements, radio and TV commercials for Christmas start earlier and earlier. As soon as the sun begins to set on Halloween, department stores begin packing shelves and websites start stocking inventory in preparation for the impending feeding frenzy that will occur for the most commercial of holidays next to valentine’s day. While spending the holiday with family normally keeps me blitzed off eggnog and most of these aforementioned advertisements are enough to make me want to book a cruise for an entire fortnight at the end of December, this one commercial for Harley-Davidson made me laugh.

Harley-Davidson Street 750 Featured in New Captain America Film

The new Harley-Davidson Street 750 was only just revealed last week at the 2013 EICMA show in Milan, but many of you may have already seen the new motorcycle even earlier and not have realized it. Harley-Davidson announced the new Street 750 will appear in Marvel Comics’ movie “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” set to hit theaters April 4, 2014. Harley-Davidson Reveals “Twin-Cooled” Engine with Precision Liquid Cooling

As we gleaned from recently revealed CARB documents, Harley-Davidson has introduced two new liquid cooled engines. The new engines use a combination of air-cooling and precision liquid cooling, similar to what BMW did with its 2013 R1200GS. One version of the engine, dubbed the Twin-Cooled High Output Twin Cam 103 will be used on the 2014 Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited and the Tri-Glide Ultra trike while the CVO Limited will use a 110ci engine known as the Screamin’ Eagle Twin-Cooled Twin Cam 110.
