1996 Harley Davidson Heritage Soft tail Nostalgia Special Edition. Only a Limited amount of these were made with this color combination, which is Extremely Rare amp; collectable. This is a great bike for someone looking for an original chromed out bike rather than a stocker! Paint is like new! Terrific condition. Very low production numbers and very few remain in like new condition 20, 150 pampered miles. Already had the 20K service completed. Very limited production and only produced from 199 -1996. Only one color was available each year. Mystic Green amp; Platinum Silver. Distinct serial# identifies the bike as a True FLSTN. This bike is known as a Nostalgia Special, fourth and last year available. Chrome metal tank badges, with Genuine OEM saddlebags amp; two piece seat, and sissy bar in exceptional condition. AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award

The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.

Harley Recalls 25,000 2014 Touring Models

Harley-Davidson is acting quickly to address  potential safety issues by voluntarily recalling certain 2014 Touring motorcycles equipped with a hydraulic clutch system that may pose a safety issue for riders and/or passengers. The recalls include a Do Not Ride notice to owners and a Do Not Deliver notice to Harley-Davidson dealers until the motorcycle is fixed. “The safety of our customers is our highest priority,” said Tony Wilcox, Harley-Davidson General Manager of Motorcycle New Product Delivery.
