1996 Harley Davidson Heritage Soft tail Nostalgia Special Edition. Only a Limited amount of these were made with this color combination, which is Extremely Rare amp; collectable. This is a great bike for someone looking for an original chromed out bike rather than a stocker! Paint is like new! Terrific condition. Very low production numbers and very few remain in like new condition 20, 150 pampered miles. Already had the 20K service completed. Very limited production and only produced from 199 -1996. Only one color was available each year. Mystic Green amp; Platinum Silver. Distinct serial# identifies the bike as a True FLSTN. This bike is known as a Nostalgia Special, fourth and last year available. Chrome metal tank badges, with Genuine OEM saddlebags amp; two piece seat, and sissy bar in exceptional condition. Q3 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results

Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.
2014 Harley-Davidson Sportsters Receive ABS and Keyless Security Options
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson revealed a five-model Sportster lineup for 2014 with some minor updates including new options for ABS and the H-D Smart Security System. The 2014 Sportster line consists of the 883cc SuperLow and Iron 883 and the 1200cc Forty-Eight, Seventy-Two and 1200 Custom. All five models received new brakes, with larger 300mm front rotors replacing the old 292mm discs.

Now the new Harley-Davidson Riding Academy is the only national rider training program hosted by Harley-Davidson dealerships and conducted on an all-new Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Since its inception in 2000, Harley-Davidson’s rider training program has successfully trained more than 350,000 new riders with a premium Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF)-approved rider training experience that guides students on their journey from the classroom to the street with an emphasis on building student confidence on their road to independence.
