1996 Harley Davidson Electra Glide, This sweet custom bagger has it all!The frame was stretched 2 1/2 , swingarm was lengthened 1 new down tubes and gussets, forward control mounts added, rear of frame was shaved and fender welded in with stiffeners for bag supports, transmission offset 1 to allow full width belt with 180 rear tire, frame shaved of all unused brackets, all fabrication and assembly performed by KaliKustoms in westminster. Bags were custom formed to match radius of fender, fitted with electric lid openers and hidden switches, seat has custom formed base and coveer, all done by 714 Motorsports. Tank fabricated by Fat Katz from aluminum. Paint and frame molding by Jim Imzz. The motor is a 110ci motor with crane HI-4 ignition, Primo clutch, Performance Machine controls and grips, Performance machine 4 piston calipers, Performance Machine rotors, Performance Machine hydraulic clutch, Stinger internal throttle, Dakota Digital gauges, HID healight, Wild On bars modified, Thunderheart micro harness controller, and Ipod integraed stereo head unit. Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley
Thu, 22 Mar 2012Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.
