It used to be a police bike, but has been stripped down and rebuilt. It has a lot of after market parts. Runs great, I have put less than a 1,000 miles on the engine since the rebuild. Exhaust sounds great and I get a lot of complements on the bike. Black primer for paint. Had plans for the bike......then had a baby......and bought a house. I love the bike, and hate to sell it but hey, that's life. It has a lot of power and is a fast ride. Digital spedo, powder coated wheels. Slight oil leak on start up out of the crank case over flow.....it's an Evo motor and I've had a couple mechanics tell me that happens with those motors. I haven't messed with fixing it yet since it's minimal. Fuel tank has been stretched and a custom seat has been installed. 2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout Unveiled at Daytona Bike Week
Fri, 08 Mar 2013In a rare move, Harley-Davidson has unveiled a base version of its Breakout months after first launching the exclusive Custom Vehicle Operations version. Presented at the 2013 Daytona Bike Week, the 2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout offers a similar low and muscular profile as the CVO version but at prices starting at $17,899 compared to the premium model’s $26,999 price point. Tom Roderick reviewed the 2013 Harley-Davidson CVO Breakout last August, saying it “continues the tradition of exclusivity, performance and style customers have come to expect from Harley-Davidson’s Custom Vehicle Operations.” But take away the premium CVO features and what do you have?
2014 Harley-Davidson Touring Models Recalled for Pinched Brake Lines
Wed, 09 Jul 2014Harley-Davidson is recalling 66,421 motorcycles because of a problem with the front brake lines getting pinched. The recall affects all ABS-equipped 2014 touring and CVO touring models including the Electra Glide Ultra Limited, Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Street Glide, Road King, CVO Limited and CVO Road King. Police and Shrine edition models are also affected, as are the Twin-Cooled version of the Electra Glide Ultra Classic and the Road King Classic which are produced for other markets.
