I recently inherited a 1982 Harley Sturgis. What's cool about this bike is its highly collectible, and gains in value. The bike has a 1340cc shovel head motor with both electric and kick start. It runs and drives good, but does need a little work. Recently had a oil change, new oil filter, new fuel filter, various replaced hoses and a new crankshaft seal. It wouldn't hurt to give the bike a nice wipe down and tune up although, nothing major. There is another seal that needs replaced near the tranny i haven't got to yet. Only 17k miles on her. This bike is a head turner and gets a lot of looks due to people not seeing them very often. I'm open to cash offers but really looking to trade for a big dog or chopper of some sort. Marlon Brando Estate Files Suit Against Harley-Davidson

The suit alleges Harley-Davidson used the legendary actor’s name without a license for a leather riding boot called “The Brando”. “It is interesting that Harley-Davidson – a company that is vigorously protective of its own brand – would seek to exploit an iconic property without benefit of a licensing agreement,” says Jeffrey I.

Stolen Harley-Davidson Returned 17 Years Later [video]
Thu, 17 Dec 2009Stolen from his apartment in West L.A. 17 years ago, Warren Huff, thought his Harley-Davidson was gone forever. The bike was found in Valencia after a man brought the motorcycle in for inspection. The bike was stock originally but Huff gets the customized Harley back as is. Hit the jump to see the news clip.
