Harley-Davidson Other description

1980 Harley-Davidson FXWG

10xxx miles on Bike, 2xxx on Rebuild-Resto-Mod

Engine was rebuilt (.020 over, Solid Lifters, Dual ...Feed Oil Lines to Rockers)

New Brakes (Chrome Front Dual, GMA Rear), New O-Ring Chain, New Paint (Satin Silver Metallic/Matte Clearcoat), New Wiring Harness, New Forward Controls and Floorboards, plus much more.

The Bike has Polished Cases, Chrome; Starter, Trans, Rockers, Nacelle, Master Cyl.(Front & Rear), Swingarm, Controls, Oil Tank, Battery Box, Shocks, Switch Housings, Spoke Wheels, Inner and Outer Primary. Triple Trees are also Chrome if you removed the Nacelle and went back to traditional WideGlide style.

Custom Pipes, Braided Stainless Oil Lines and Brake Lines, Hard Bags, Avon Gangster WW Tires, Custom King & Queen Seat, 16" Apes. Kick and Electric Start ( I have never had to kick it)

Runs very strong. I rode it to Key West after the rebuild, and had no issues. I would not be afraid to ride this anywhere. I no longer have the time to ride it due to work, and I hate to see it sit. I am not pressed to sell, but I would like to see it go to someone who could ride it and enjoy it.

It gets plenty of attention wherever I take it. I have won 2 Bike Shows with this. Vintage always Wins. 36 year old bike that still sets off car alarms, and rides great. All lights and signals work also.

Something for the weekend, Sir?

Tue, 10 Aug 2010

THIS IS THE 2011 Harley-Davidson special edition Ford F-150 pickup truck. The 6.2-litre V8 features 22-inch forged wheels, lowered suspension over the standard model and a decent smattering of Harley-Davidson logos. "The new 2011 Ford Harley-Davidson F-150 perfectly blends the flexibility and capability of F-Series trucks with the free spirit of Harley-Davidson motorcycles," said Eric Kuehn, chief engineer.

GOOD LORD: where will it ever end?Harley-Davidson and Olympus cameras have launched a range of branded leather bags, specifically for use with Olympus cameras. The cases come replete with 'silver studs, buckles, chains and the iconic Harley-Davidson motorcycle brand in four distinct styles,' says Olympus. The camera company continues: 'Whether you’re a two-wheeled novice, a seasoned road warrior or just enjoy the look, the new Harley-Davidson accessory cases are for you.'Mmmmm.The limited-edition leather accessory bags will be available in February 2010.Wonder if the cost of the new leather pouches will be Harley-Davidson inspired, too?

Harley-Davidson Reveals Project Livewire

Thu, 19 Jun 2014

Yesterday we published a scoop on what we believed to be a production electric motorcycle by, of all companies, Harley-Davidson, dubbed “Livewire.” Today, H-D officially announced Project LiveWire as the company’s first electric motorcycle. However, it appears as though our speculation about LiveWire going into production was a bit off base. Instead, The Motor Company is continuing with its customer-led product development approach and letting riders decide whether or not LiveWire sees the light of day. Starting next week select consumers across the country will be able to ride and provide feedback on the bike, helping to shape the future of Harley-Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle. While not for sale, Project LiveWire is specifically designed for the purpose of getting insight into rider expectations of an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
