You are bidding on a 1979 FXS Lowrider. The motorcycle is in beautiful condition, but I am selling it due to a personal medical issue. I would ride this bike anywhere. Spring of 2012, we put on new tires, new drive chain, new Mallery ignition pickup, changed the drive chain ratio to 2 to 1, and redid the upper heads. Odometer shows 20,000 miles. Everything functions as it should. There is the normal wear and tear, just a few dents and dings, paint chips, all from being ridden to Sturgis in fall of 2012. Common responses from male motorcyclists to the press release were: Duh; Tell me something I didn’t already know; Can I be a recruiter? Meant to entice non-riding females into the Harley-Davidson army by pimping the Bar & Shield’s website, www.h-d.com/women, the press release was peppered with effeminate catchphrases such as “physical intimacy, “communication,” and “improves relationships” but the basal message is one of female motorcyclists being sexier, happier and more confident than their non-riding counterparts.
Harley-Davidson and Marvel Comics Team Up Again for Iron Man 3
Mon, 08 Apr 2013Harley-Davidson and Marvel Comics are teaming up once more for another cross-promotional promotion, this time in support of the upcoming film “Iron Man 3“. Harley-Davidson had previously worked with Marvel for last year’s “The Avengers” and before that, with 2011′s “Captain America: The First Avenger“. For the third installment of the Iron Man series starring Robert Downey Jr., Harley-Davidson and Marvel announced the “Iron Man 3 – Man & Machine” contest.
