1978 Harley-Davidson Shovelhead, 1978shovelhead. New dual compound michellin tires. New 13 1/2 shocks, tranny seals, stator,regulator, sprockets geared 24-43. First gear pulls to 60 mph. This bike runs strong and handles great. New s&s block, bored 80 over with high lift cam, wiesco pistons, accell coil, running points ignition. Extra fat bob tanks, 2 drag pipes, and a box of new base and top end gaskets ($225). This is a good bike that i've put a lot of time and money into. New 2012 Harley-Davidson Models Named in CARB Documents

Documents released by the California Air Resources Board reveal two new models from Harley-Davidson’s 2012 lineup: a 10th anniversary edition V-Rod and a new member of the Dyna family. The CARB documents list motorcycles that have received approval for the state of California. The Motor Company has received approval for several 2012 models including the 2012 Harley-Davidson Night Rod Special Anniversary and the 2012 Harley-Davidson Switchback.

Bob Probert’s Last Ride [video]

The former NHL Detroit Red Wing and Chicago Blackhawks tough guy, Bob Probert, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2010 after suffering chest pains while boating with his family.  Probert was arguably the all time greatest NHL fighter but also had great skills, leadership qualities and a big heart. He was taken to his final destination on a Harley-Davidson sidecar before about 1,000 mourners.  Probert was 45 years old on his passing, he leaves behind his wife Dani, son Jack and two daughters, Brogan and Tierney.
