1978 Harley-Davidson Shovelhead, 1978shovelhead. New dual compound michellin tires. New 13 1/2 shocks, tranny seals, stator,regulator, sprockets geared 24-43. First gear pulls to 60 mph. This bike runs strong and handles great. New s&s block, bored 80 over with high lift cam, wiesco pistons, accell coil, running points ignition. Extra fat bob tanks, 2 drag pipes, and a box of new base and top end gaskets ($225). This is a good bike that i've put a lot of time and money into. Sturgis Motorcycle Hall of Fame Announces 2013 Induction Class

The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame announced it will induct five new members for 2013. The Hall also announced it will add one new member to its Freedom Fighters Hall of Fame. For 2013, the Hall will welcome to its ranks motorcycle attorney Russ Brown, custom chopper builder Rick Fairless (pictured above), Harley-Davidson dealer Bill Gikling, actor Marjoe Gortner of the television special “Sturgis: The Great Ride”, and antique motorcycle expert Lonnie Isam, Sr.

Harley-Davidson to compete in Hill Climb

For the first time in the history of the World Extreme Games, in addition to skiers, snowboarders and other extreme winter sports, Harley-Davidson motorcycle riders will also start competing. The new Harley-Davidson Snow Hill Climb medal discipline will be introduced during the final days of the games, which will take place from January 25 to 28, 2018. Athletes will climb on motorcycles on the slope of the SuperPipe track.
