Harley-Davidson Other description

Up for sale is my 1978 Harley Davidson Shovelhead FLH with factory installed side car. I got this from the origional owner who orderd it from the factory with the side car. He also claims miles are true. I had a Harley dealer authenticate that the bike came from the factory with the side car. While Harley doesn't keep records back that far they were very confident that this bike came from the factory with the side car. The adjustable triple tree and steering damper are the determining factors. The bike is really in great shape and runs great. At some point he painted it blue. Paint job is not great but I think it looks pretty cool as it is something that would have been done back in the day. I have not checked all the lights but know the head lights and horn work. The bike runs great and is a blast to drive. It starts right up and yes it leaks oil like every other shovelhead. I have the stock white seat and windshield that goes with it. Check out all the pictures to see all the details of the bike.

You can either enjoy it as is or do a full restoration which would make this rare bike very valuable. With knucklheads becomming so outragiously priced, shovelheads are becoming popular. Making this a very unique and valuable bike as years pass.

I have a fair/reasonable reserve on this bike. So bid to own.

I remember my first bicycle. A blue frame with white handlebars and a long white banana seat for comfort. I was riding a Smurf.
