THE BIKE IS IN EXCELLENT ORIGINAL CONDITION....THE BIKE IS 38 YEARS OLD AND SHOWS SOME AGEING... THE TIRES ARE ORIGINAL TIRES SHOWS VERY LITTLE WEAR, THE BACK TIRE IF YOUR PLANNING TO RIDE WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED DUE TO IT AGE....THE TANK IS ORIGINAL AS WELL HAS SOME SMALL SCUFFS.. INSIDE TANK IS CLEAN AND HAS BEEN SEALED...AGAIN THE BIKE IS AN SURVIVOR ... AS FAR AS THE MILES GO, THE TITLE READS 129.. I NEVER DROVE THE BIKE,IT WAS FOR MY COLLECTION.... Harley-Davdison Museum Opens Tsunami Motorcycle Exhibit
Wed, 24 Oct 2012From Miyagi Prefecture in Japan to Graham Island in British Columbia, Canada, to Milwaukee, Wis., the motorcycle tossed across the Pacific Ocean by the 2011 Japanese tsunami has landed at the Harley-Davidson Museum. The 2004 Harley-Davidson Softail Night Train owned by earthquake and tsunami survivor Ikuo Yokoyama is now on display at the museum as a memorial to those affected by the March 2011 tsunami. The motorcycle will be preserved in the condition it was in when Canadian beachcomber Peter Mark found it inside a cargo box that washed up on Graham Island in May.

Mon, 08 Apr 2013Harley-Davidson and Marvel Comics are teaming up once more for another cross-promotional promotion, this time in support of the upcoming film “Iron Man 3“. Harley-Davidson had previously worked with Marvel for last year’s “The Avengers” and before that, with 2011′s “Captain America: The First Avenger“. For the third installment of the Iron Man series starring Robert Downey Jr., Harley-Davidson and Marvel announced the “Iron Man 3 – Man & Machine” contest.
Harley-Davidson Discontinuing Road Glide and Other Models for 2014
Mon, 15 Apr 2013A leaked memo sent out to Harley-Davidson dealers reveals plans to drop several models from the company’s 2014 lineup. Slated to disappear are the XR1200X Sportster, the FXS Softail Blackline, and the FLHTC Electra Glide Classic. Also being discontinued, at least for 2014, is the FLTRX Road Glide Custom and FLTRU Road Glide Ultra, as the tourer models undergo a design refresh.
