This is a 1975 Harley Davidson, originally an FXE but converted to a 1960 Hot Rod Bobber Clone. the front end is from a 2000 dina wide glide and the lower legs have been powder coated along with the triple trees, all the tins are new parts, and painted hotrod black, tank badges are 1960 style FL , new speedo and cover , the engine was rebuilt and the shovelheads were replaced with S&S Panheads along with EVO cam and lifters, the engine runs quiet and smooth and reliable like an EVO, transmission was removed inspected and a early type mechanical speedo gear was installed just like the 60's, new taillight and head light are aftermarket. wheels were powder coated red new chrome spokes 16 inch rear and 21 white walls for that hot rod look, front with powder coated hub new brake pads front and rear, new tires, corban solo seat with pillion pad not installed drag bars with 6 inch risers new battery last year and always kept on a maintainer new high output coil and electronic ignition installed , has electric and kick start , S&S carb, straight pipes no baffles bike runs strong and loud ,I kept the swing arm along with original frame for distance riding comfort,( that was a good idea.) Thu, 07 Apr 2022The Nightster 975 has a certain ring to it We are less than a week away from the official reveal of Harley-Davidson‘s next Sportster, but we’ve managed to confirm the new model will use a 975 version of the Revolution Max engine. Harley-Davidson has been slowly revealing details of the new model, first with a teaser video and a number of social media posts. We’ve previously speculated that the new model will use a smaller displacement version of the Sportster S‘ Revolution Max 1250T engine, with clues such as the telescopic fork, twin rear shocks and single front disc hinting at a less performance-oriented focus.

Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson revealed a five-model Sportster lineup for 2014 with some minor updates including new options for ABS and the H-D Smart Security System. The 2014 Sportster line consists of the 883cc SuperLow and Iron 883 and the 1200cc Forty-Eight, Seventy-Two and 1200 Custom. All five models received new brakes, with larger 300mm front rotors replacing the old 292mm discs.
