Hi I have a very nice 1972 Harley Davidson FLH Electra Glide that's in really nice shape for the year. This bike has been sitting for some time and ridden very little. It has been stored in a heated garage her entire life. She can use some TLC, front caliper needs a rebuild and she could use some elbow grease. Bike does run and drives, but I haven't ridden her in 2 years. It does have a custom paint job and extras as well. True dual exhaust, Highway Bars, Saddle Bags, Full appraisal sheet. Can't confirm original mileage but I've had her for 10 years and bought it from the original owner. This is a low mileage bike. Check my feedback it speaks for itself. Blues Brothers Too Old for Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary Celebration?
Fri, 10 May 2013Comedian Dan Aykroyd says he offered to bring his Blues Brothers act to Harley-Davidson‘s 110th Anniversary celebrations but was turned down because H-D executives said the act was too old for the company’s target demographics. Aykroyd, playing the role of Elwood J. Blues with the late John Belushi playing “Joliet” Jake Blues, posted a statement on his official Facebook page suggesting Elwood is trading in his Harley-Davidson motorcycle for a Can-Am Spyder.
Backflips on a Harley? [video]
Mon, 07 Dec 2009In late November two motorcycle daredevils from opposite sides of the world were fighting to see who would be the first to backflip a Harley Davidson XR1200 motorcycle. Australia’s Kain Saul reached the Promised Land first when he made a successful jump in Sydney on November 27. Harley-Davidson believes Saul’s jump is the first ever successful backflip for any full size street motorcycle.
