This bike is in great condition with extensive restoration work over the last 7 years. (copies of the repairs done available at time of purchase). It has a new custom paint job, blue with white/light blue ghost flames, tires, electrical, brakes, and carburetor. Runs great and has the original transmission.
Features: Original 1972 FLH Electraglide that includes a parts repair list, all original and replaced parts (see above), schematics, wiring diagram, 1970 Harley Owner Manual, and a CD with pictures (including repair process). Among the original parts included; both saddle bags, original seat, and shield. History: The bike was my fathers. It became deconditioned from >10 years garage storage. I've spent the last 7 years restoring the motorcycle and enjoyed riding it the last 5 years. Mechanical and electrical repairs were done by a certified garage. Pope Francis To Auction Harley-Davidson For Charity
Mon, 21 Oct 2013During Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations earlier this year, Pope Francis was given not one, but two Harley-Davidsons, a 2013 Heritage Softail Classic and Dyna Super Glide Custom. Not one for gaudy excess (or a motorcycle ride for that matter), Pope Francis has decided to put both up for auction. Specifically, the Pope has donated the bikes to the Caritas charity near Rome.
