Up for auction is a 1972 Harley Davidson FX Super-Glide Boat tail. I Have owned this bike since 1996. It is an older restoration, but still looks nice. I had electric start added when I purchased the bike as I intended to ride it. Some of the chrome is original and showing its age (see pics). There are a couple of chips in the rear fender, and some cracks in the seat cover. The bike has been in storage in a climate controlled warehouse for a decade or more. It will be fully serviced before the time of pickup. Please look at the pictures and ask questions. I will be happy to answer with the best of my ability.
A $500 paypal deposit will be required within 48 hours of the auction's end. The balance will be paid in cash at the time of pickup. I will accept other payments as long as the funds clear before the bike leaves my shop. I have sold several bikes to Japan and Australia and will be happy to assist in any way I can. Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
Eric Bostrom to Race TTXGP for Brammo at Laguna Seca
Thu, 26 Jul 2012Eric Bostrom has signed on to ride the Brammo Empulse RR in the electric motorcycle race at Laguna Seca July 28-29. The race is the final stop on the TTXGP‘s North American series and a joint event with the FIM’s ePower series. The AMA racing veteran will join Steve Atlas to represent Team Icon Brammo at Laguna Seca.
