1971 Harley-Davidson Shovelhead with Sidecar 

Here is your chance to own a piece of Harley Davidson history!
Low Reserve!
This motorcycle runs and rides as good as it looks. 1971 Harley Davidson 1200 Shovelhead with matching sidecar. This bike has a fresh top end, fueled by an S&S super B carburetor. See the attached video for start up and idle. Factory 4 speed transmission is present. 
Sidecar chassis is a 1966LE with a factory drum brake. Reproduction sidecar body and fender is present with original HD hardware, seat, and windshield. Both the bike and the sidecar have been painted to match. Motorcycle frame VIN matches the motor case VIN. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED YOUTUBE VIDEO!

Motus Hires Former H-D Test Rider + Video

Bruce Edmiston was a Harley-Davidson test rider for over 20 years. In that time, he estimates he’s racked up well north of 500,000 miles on a wide variety of motorcycles from many different parts of the world. He retired from Harley-Davidson in 2009, but the prospect of helping Motus develop an all-American sport-tourer was just the opportunity he needed to come out of retirement and utilize his test riding expertise.

2011 Indy Mile Cancelled

Indy Mile officials have decided to cancel this year’s AMA Flat Track round due to the continuing investigation into the fatal stage rigging accident at the Indiana State Fair. The Aug. 13 tragedy killed five people and injured dozens after winds reaching as high as 70 mph caused the stage to collapse.

The Hydra-Glide name celebrates its 75th anniversary, dating back to the first hydraulic fork that was equipped to a Harley-Davidson, replacing the springer front end in 1949, while the “slash” fuel tank design, emblem, classic round air filter cover, two-toned windshield, seat, and cases, are all nods to the 1956 FLH.
