This bike has all matching numbers- Engine, Frame, Title. Belly numbers are matching #171-11642. Motor and Trans. have been completely rebuilt. All worn parts have been replaced. Cylinders have been bored to .40 over due to a pin keeper coming loose and scoring the cylinder. Valves and seats were ground and laped. Guides were good. Frame and swing arm are powder coated. N.O.S. parts include- Muffler #65242-51B, Goodyear Tires- Front Sport Rib 3.50-19 Rear Speed Grip MT90-16, #1 dash panel, FX timer cover, All peg rubbers, Rear peg set, Air Cleaner Cover, Grips, Front Brake Switch, Seat was sold to me on e-bay as NOS but it is an early take off in like new condition. Rechromed original parts include- Bars, Lower Legs, Fender Rails, Chain Guard, Exhaust Pipe, Shifter, Shock Springs plus Upper and Lower Covers. Original Cam Cover, Primary Covers-Inner and Outter, Headlamp and Cover, Kicker Cover, Clutch and Brake Levers, Fenders including Front, Inner Rear, and Fiberglass Boattail, plus Tanks, Speedo, Wire harness, Buttons, Dimmer switch, and Regulator. Aftermarket parts are- Rims with Stainless spokes, Kick spring cover, Shifter cover, Master Cyl. Cover, Mirror, Kick Stand, Battery Cover, Ign. Switch. Zero Motorcycles Launches Dealer Network
Tue, 12 Jul 2011Zero Motorcycles announced a new network of eight dealerships as the electric motorcycle company begins the transition from an online-based sales model to a traditional showroom sales model. Until now, Zero conducts its sales over the Internet with the help of a system of Independent Representatives around the country who use a handful of demo models instead of actual inventory to showcase the brand. As both demand and production have increased, Zero is ready to adopt a new dealer-based model.
Arlen Ness B-Day Bash At Petersen Museum

The B-day celebration will be followed by a V-Twin Cruise-In on July 13 and punctuated by a summer-long exhibit entitled Arlen Ness: Art on Two Wheels. The July 12th birthday party is open to the public and the $95 ticket price puts you in the company of Arlen and other customizing aristocrats and also includes cocktails and dinner.
Fundraising Harley Prints By 8-year-old MDA Ambassador On Sale
Tue, 10 Sep 2013MDA Ambassador Reagan Imhoff wanted the artwork she created with Harley-Davidson designer Mathew Hintz to “raise a lot of money for MDA so we can have more scientists to make medicines.” The original drawing of a purple Harley-Davidson Softail Breakout motorcycle brought in $3500 on August 31 at the MDA auction during the 110th Anniversary Celebration. The pair hopes to raise even more with sales of the limited edition, signed prints, available through www.HintzStudios.com. “I’m happy our artwork raised some money, and hope we sell all of the prints!” said Reagan, who has Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a painful neuromuscular disease.
