Here for sale today I have a 1966 Harley scooter. I got this from a guy that has had it since 1970 and has had it stored for about the last 70 years. It is all original except for the tail light lens. It is not running. When I got it I cleaned and sealed the tank cleaned the carb, but would not start. I don't know anything about 2 cycles but after trying to start it I removed the plug. It was wet with gas and I set the plug next to the motor and it did spark. So I think it must be a simple fix. This was only made 2 years and don't see many around. If you have any questions please ask. I am looking for a early 70's FL or FX unmolested frame and will be going to Wauseon at 9:00 Sat. morning. Mustang Announces Metal Flake Seat Colors and Display for Sturgis
Wed, 16 Jul 2014Just in time for Sturgis, Mustang Seats has release new color options for its custom seats. Designed to match the retro colors on Harley-Davidson’s Hard Candy Custom collection, the vinyl seats have metal flake in six available colors available on Mustang’s Tripper Solo, Tripper Fastback and DayTripper seats. According to Mustang, after the starting its custom seat program last fall, so many customers requested a metal flake option that they had to provide it.
Harley-Davidson Offers “Steel Toe Tour” of York Factory
Thu, 23 Feb 2012Harley-Davidson is adding a new factory tour program offering visitors a personal look at the company’s York production facility. For years, the M has been offering free factory tours of its operations in York, Pa., Kansas City, Mo., Tomahawk, Wis., and Menomonee Falls, Wis., facilities. In 2009, Harley-Davidson introduced a premium tour that takes guests into “employee-only” areas called the “Steel Toe Tour” at its Menomonee Falls location.
