Harley-Davidson Other description

I think this 1949 Harley hummer frame# 47454 * 49 the Motor # 51S 1843 I have two Manuals One is spare parts Catalog for model125 and

Model165. Then the other for Model125. I have a brand new wiring harness with points and condenser. I also have a new bolt kit. Don't have title. This motorcycle has never been underwater it was the only thing to list without a title. as is wear as is. I have 3 other Harley Dresser that have tags and insurance. I just don't have the money to restore this one. This Bike is well worth restoring. The tank is in good shape just needs the ignition switch that goes in the tank. I bought the wiring harness and chrome bolt kit to make it look good. I have the parts manuals, I was told that the bike does run. I have not had the time. It is a pretty cool bike. I have 3 Harley's and this one I had know idea they even made one like this. I found out they used these bikes for flat track. I also found that they were used for the wall of death. Pretty cool.

Louisiana Bill Updates Maximum Handlebar Height Legislation

Thu, 17 May 2012

Louisiana state lawmakers have approved a bill that would change the maximum height of motorcycle handlebars. Current state law restricts handlebar height to no more than 15 inches above the seat, a somewhat arbitrary level, but a common choice with 17 other states. The House has voted 87-0 in favor of Senate Bill 582 to change the maximum height to the rider’s shoulder level, as measured while sitting on the seat.
