1949 Harley Davidson Panhead Captain America Tribute Bike. The previous owner had the engine completely rebuilt buy a professional using new STD heads. Cases are stamped original 1949 cases and all the chrome is polished to a mirror finish. The S&S Super E carb was recently cleaned and rejetted so well as timing set for an easier start. Tires have lots of tread and no dry rot. Bike has a new lithium ion battery for lots of spark and was serviced in the spring by a PH.D. Harley Technician. This bike turns heads and drops jaws. It's been a best of show winner multiple times. Bike runs well but has not been ran very much this season. I am only selling this bike due to a spinal injury that has left me unable to ride. I would love to see her ridden and displayed by someone who can appreciate and enjoy her. Bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if sold. Bike comes with a 1977 NJ title. I am willing to deliver within 50 miles of zip code 08037 for free possibly farther for a nominal fee. There is a reserve of 9k. Because the event was so popular, The Art of Rebellion one-night only event quickly became a month long showing. Artwork was for sale and the proceeds were donated to Art Matters, a foundation that assists socially and aesthetically groundbreaking artists.

Thanks to new vehicle certification data from Australia, we can confirm that the Heritage Classic 114 and the Fat Boy 114 will be receiving 120th Anniversary Editions. The Australian certification for Harley-Davidson’s Softail models was updated today, adding mentions of two new model codes: “FLFBSANV,” and “FLHCSANV,” both with vehicle identification number codes that indicate 2023 models.
Forbes Expects Harley-Davidson to Announce Gains for Q3 2011
Mon, 17 Oct 2011In anticipation of Harley-Davidson announcing its third-quarter performance in 2011 Forbes.com expects Harley will reveal its third straight quarter of sales growth. The article says that financial analysts expect “earnings of $0.76 per share, up 47.4% from the same quarter of last year.” Additionally, an 18.8% gain in revenues is expected. Interestingly, the article refers to Harley’s motorcycles as “luxury items,” and as such sees Harley’s increased sales and profit as a possible harbinger of an improving U.S.
