Harley-Davidson Other description
INDIAN CHIEF FRAME. Let me begin by saying that I know very little about Indians. This looks to be a very original Indian Chief Frame. The Frame number on the rear reads 348-1586. The Frame comes with Kick Stand, Rear Stand, Clutch Pedal, Rear Brake Hardware, One Running Board, and Engine Crank Pedal. It looks straight but I can not guarantee that. It does have two weld spots on the bottom side. I see no cracks at these spots. Looks like someone may have welded some kind of bracket at one time. The welds do not look like a frame repair and I think it can be easily removed. The Frame is located in Stanfield NC. For shipping quotes it weighs apx 105 pounds and measures 53" x 24" x 33". Look over the pictures well before bidding. This looks to me to be a very good Chief Frame. THIS ITEM DOES NOT COME WITH A TITLE.

Survey Says Harley-Davidson and BMW Motorcycles Less Reliable Than Japanese – But Owners Don’t Care
Tue, 26 Mar 2013A new survey conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center finds BMW and Harley-Davidson owners are much more likely to report major problems with their motorcycles than owners of Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.
