Up for sale is a really nice 1948 Harley Davidson Panhead with mostly all ORIGINAL paint! Tanks and rear fender are OG. Front fender has been blended in by one of the best painters out there that specializes in this type of work. All original HD sheetmetal, parts and pieces. Belly numbers match. Great investment piece as this is a correct bike. The pics don't lie - there are some dents and dings, but no rust. Wonderful patina that cannot be replicated. No repairs to the frame, either. The bike had a full mechanical overhaul less than 1,000 miles ago and is a runner. New tires. These pics were taken on 5/02/16. What you see is what you get. If you have questions, please ask. I will be responsive as I can be via ebay messaging. This bike is for sale locally and internationally, and I reserve the right to remove from Ebay should the bike be sold. I do welcome inspections but they must be performed PRIOR to auction's end. Bike is located in Atlanta, GA. Clean and clear title in my possession. ALL shipping arrangements must be made by buyer. The two motorcycles feature the new liquid-cooled Revolution X engine, a narrow, agile chassis with a low seat height (26.3 inches), new suspension, a wide handlebar and minimalist styling. Not all markets will get both engine sizes, but the U.S. will. The 500 costs $6700 and the 750 is $7500.

Detroit Police Department Restores 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead
Fri, 13 Dec 2013The Detroit Police Department revealed a restored a 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead police bike that was found during the move to its new headquarters. The 76-year-old police motorcycle was found disassembled at the old headquarters after several decades in storage. According to MLive, the police department attempted to restore the motorcycle in 1974 but never got around to completing it.
