Classic 1946 harley-davidson WL done up WR style that runs and rides great with a G motor This old classic has the look and patina/right amount of aged greasy dirty look that really gives the bike the vintage Flathead look without the very high prices the knucks and pans are bringing. We were told the motor was overhauled years back and we feel not a lot of miles ago. Just got the bike checked over and serviced and the service guy even said he hasn't rode one that ran and shifted this good in a long time Ready for your personal touches!! You will not find many like this around, selling only because I have other interests. Miles are not required on this year. trophy and helmet are used for display and will go with the bike. Tires have some weather cracks. It is a very fun bike to ride, please bid with confidence what you see is what you get. Thu, 06 Feb 2014Bonhams auction house in Paris has announced the unexpected results of the auction held today which included a 2013 Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide and a leather jacket owned by none other than the Pope. The results were simply astounding. The Pope’s Harley sold for $328,527 to a private European buyer.

Motorcycle Thefts Down 11.2% in 2010
Wed, 21 Sep 2011Motorcycle thefts in the U.S. are down for the fourth consecutive year in 2010, according to a report from the National Insurance Crime Bureau. There were 49,791 reported motorcycle thefts in 2010, an 11.2% drop from the 56,093 thefts reported in 2009.
