Harley-Davidson Other description

1941 Harley Davidson Big-Twin Bobber.   This classic is powered by a 1941 G 45 ci engine mounted in a v-twin straight leg frame with springer front end.  The 45 ci is mated with a 3spd with reverse Trans.  Jockey Shift with the servi-car style foot clutch for that classic custom riding feel.  Starts first ignition kick every time.  The proffesionaly made stainless exhaust gives it that throaty big twin harley sounds.  The electrical system has been updated to a twelve volt charging system so you have lights that you can actually see and be seen with.  Has a Linkert M88 carb.  Steering dampner and tool box.  Bates Style solo seat.  This bike is not a show winner, but it is a blast to ride down the road on or head to the local car or bike show.  Keep the 45 motor in it, or it would be very easy to put in a big twin engine that you have sitting around.  This is a NO RESERVE auction. The final winning bid will own this bike.  I will assist with shipping.  I am willing to ship over seas.  If you would like a shipping quote you can visit www.alliedmotorcycleshipping.com   Use postal code 04103 for area of pickup.   Everything on this bike works except the speedo and the dash lights.  I do not have a title for this motorcycle.  Due to the title laws in the state of maine, I am not able to get a title.  I will provide a registration and a bill of sale to the winning bidder.    If you have any questions please ask prior to bidding.  I can be reached by e-mail or via phone.  207-233-1839.

The TwinTrax Is A Machine Straight From Mad Max

Fri, 27 Sep 2013

Just look at this motorcycle for a moment. A creation of the German Motorcycle Authority, the TwinTrax is nearly 107 inches long, weighs 882 pounds, and took owner/builder Christoph Madaus 12 years to complete. Oh, and don’t forget the two Harley-Davidson V-Twins powering this thing.
