Harley-Davidson Other description

If you are looking for a great award winning AMCA bike, this is the time to get it, i have just lowered the price and  bikes like this don't come around often! This  bike is the first year Harley produced the VL, it is the winner of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America Junior and Senior First,   This bike was completely and professionally restored from a complete original bike over a period of several years, the vast majority of the parts are original to the bike. If you have ever restored a bike to this standard you have an idea of the time, money and effort it takes to do it properly, don't confuse my bikes with some of these bikes that need restoration.  My VL is not cheap, however I believe I am asking a reasonable price for a bike of this quality. I have a fairly large collection and have come to the time in my life where I have decided that I just want to start slowing down a bit, so over the next couple months I will being listing several additional Harley's, in addition to this bike with is the first year the VL's were offered I have also decided to list a 1936 VL which has also won Junior and Senior First AMCA awards, so if you are serious this is a rare opportunity to pick up both first and last year of the VL's both of which are very correct

All of the bikes I have listed are a great example of correct restored bikes, all have been judged and all have achieved senior first place awards through AMCA.

My bike has always been keep in a climate controlled garage and has been ridden between 50 and 100 miles since a complete restoration.

Please ask any questions prior to bidding as all sales are final, this bike is being sold, "as is" there are no warranties included. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, however I can help arrange for pickup if needed. If you are in South Florida and wish to see the bike please contact me and I will try to make arrangements. If you wish to speak to me personally about this bike I can be reached at 305 9873333

Subject to winning bid I require a $1,000 deposit within 48 hours, after which payment in full is required before shipment.  This bike is being offered for sale locally as well, so it is subject to prior sale.

If you have any questions please feel free to email me at ralex@galleryindustries.com

Pope Francis To Auction Harley-Davidson For Charity

Mon, 21 Oct 2013

During Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations earlier this year, Pope Francis was given not one, but two Harley-Davidsons, a 2013 Heritage Softail Classic and Dyna Super Glide Custom. Not one for gaudy excess (or a motorcycle ride for that matter), Pope Francis has decided to put both up for auction. Specifically, the Pope has donated the bikes to the Caritas charity near Rome.

New Indian Commercial Pokes Fun At Harley-Davidson

Thu, 18 Jul 2013

The big news in the motorcycle world this year is the return of Indian motorcycles. Earlier this year, parent company Polaris unveiled the all-new Thunderstroke 111 engine as a sneak peak to the 2014 Chief which is set to make its official debut at Sturgis at the beginning of August. To prepare for this momentous occasion, Indian produced this commercial, which takes a nice, healthy jab at the iconic Motor Company.

More Evidence of a Harley-Davidson Pan America 975 Emerges

Mon, 17 Oct 2022

Earlier this year, we wrote about how signs of a Pan America 975 were mistakenly mentioned in an official Harley-Davidson web page for an accessory locking fuel cap. Up until shortly after our article went live, the page listed the fuel cap as being compatible with the RA1250 (Pan America 1250) and RA1250S (Pan America 1250 Special) as well as two unannounced models: the RA975 and RA965S, which we assumed to be Pan America models powered by the 975cc version of the Revolution Max engine, like the one equipped on the Nightster. Motorcycle.com has now obtained further evidence of the existence of middleweight versions of Harley-Davidson’s adventure-tourer, once again from Harley itself, as well as the U.S.
