Harley-Davidson Dyna description

2013 HARLEY-DAVIDSON Dyna Street Bob FXDB - Vivid Black, Feast your eyes on the Twin Cam 96 engine and there's no mistaking its roots. From the classic edge of the cooling fins to the clean lines of cases and covers, this is authentic Harley-Davidson style through and through with an attention to detail you won't find from any other motorcycle company. The finish, newly designed for 2013 as part of the Street Bob model's re-imagined dark styling, features a blacked out powertrain, a gloss black battery cover and textured wrinkle-black rockers with highlighted fins. It's pure, minimal styling that makes an elemental statement about holding to what's right and staying true to what satisfies.

Harley-Davidson Reports Q2 2014 Sales Results

Tue, 22 Jul 2014

Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $354.2 million over the second quarter of 2014, thanks to a 12.4% increase in sales revenue. Actual motorcycle sales volume stayed about even, however, with unit sales increasing to just 90,218 motorcycles from 90,193 sold in the same quarter last year. Though sales were statistically the same as they were last year, Harley-Davidson generated $1.48 billion in revenue from motorcycle sales alone, up 16.2% from the $1.27 billion reported in the second quarter of 2013.

Pretty it may be, but you wouldn't catch me spending £160,000 on this 1915 Harley-Davidson 11-F Twin that's coming up for sale at a Bonhams auction. It's allegedly one of the most sought-after Harleys and has buyers from around the world itching to splash out on it. Not literally, you'd hope.

More Evidence of a Harley-Davidson Pan America 975 Emerges

Mon, 17 Oct 2022

Earlier this year, we wrote about how signs of a Pan America 975 were mistakenly mentioned in an official Harley-Davidson web page for an accessory locking fuel cap. Up until shortly after our article went live, the page listed the fuel cap as being compatible with the RA1250 (Pan America 1250) and RA1250S (Pan America 1250 Special) as well as two unannounced models: the RA975 and RA965S, which we assumed to be Pan America models powered by the 975cc version of the Revolution Max engine, like the one equipped on the Nightster. Motorcycle.com has now obtained further evidence of the existence of middleweight versions of Harley-Davidson’s adventure-tourer, once again from Harley itself, as well as the U.S.
