The bobber appearance is also maintained in the post war style stainless steel mini ape hanger handlebar. Add that to the stripped down Dyna fender, in combination with a good portion of the metal stripped off the bike, and you have a classic bobber motorcycle look. The 1940s sausage taillight also adds to the classic bobber motorcycle style. The classic look continues with the Harley Street Bob FXDB's black laced steel 19 inch Harley wheels. AMA Road Racing From Laguna Seca Will Not Be Televised Or Online
Tue, 08 Jul 2014AMA Pro Racing has confirmed that round four of the AMA Pro Road Racing series from the FIM Superbike World Championship, Geico Motorcycle U.S. Round at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca will not be available for live broadcast on FansChoice.tv or post-race viewing. AMA Pro Racing engaged in good faith negotiations with the event’s rights holder (Dorna -TS), but, ultimately, was unable to reach an agreement in the best interest of all parties involved.
Harley-Davidson Reports Q2 2011 Results
Tue, 19 Jul 2011Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $190.6 million over the second quarter of 2011, thanks to the first year-on-year quarterly improvement in the U.S. market in nearly five years. For the three months ended June 26, 2011, Harley-Davidson’s operating income totaled $301.9 million, a 38.0% increase from the $218.8 million reported in the same period of 2010.
Harley-Davidson to Assemble More Models in India
Mon, 04 Mar 2013Harley-Davidson is expanding its assembly operations in India, increasing the number of models imported as complete knockdown kits to nine. Harley-Davidson will now assemble the Fat Boy, Fat Boy Special and Heritage Softail Classic in India, joining six models already being assembled in India. The move follows India’s new budget which increases import duties on motorcycles with engines larger than 800cc to 75% from the previous rate of 60%.
